Ron Danise, President is an ISA Certified Arborist who has worked in the field of arboriculture  since 1974.  He is also an educator.  Ron started his professional career with Bartlett Tree Experts in Danbury, CT as the diagnostic division manager.  He was doing IPM before it was even called  IPM.

He is considered a master rigger and has even invented tools of the trade.  He patented a bollard device that allows ground workers to lower limbs with better control and ease.  He has always tried to improve his trade, and teach others along the way. 

Ron began his own company in 1976, and started concentrating on reduction of water use, earth friendly soil fertility solutions and soil amendments.  He moved to Charlotte in 1981 and soon had his own tree care company.  If there was a heinous tree removal or a tree that needed to be cabled or braced, Ron was the one to call. He has held many seminars on proper pesticide use and tree health care.

These days you can find Ron in a warehouse, producing natural, safe, organic soil amendments.  The benefits they provide trees, and other landscape plants, including grass, has people talking.  Some think he’s a little crazy, after all, he raises worms for their poop, uh, I mean natural byproducts.  Ron has spent years combining these worm castings with seaweed and other natural ingredients. 

Ron is looking to the future, where the green industry needs to be more ‘green’ itself.  The environmental effects of arboricultural practices can have a negative effect, and he’s trying to change that.

He is a most interesting person to talk to, and his enthusiasm in natural organics is infectious.

He recently acquired a farm in South Carolina that he is in the process of turning into a earth friendly compost facility.

Ron also created and manufactures a 100% Organic soil amendment called OMRI Nutri-Cast® that has just been listed with the OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) It is one of the first granular product geared to the Arboricultural Industry that is actually OMRI listed!
